Well after getting alot of info and help here on buying and setting up my first contender hunting pistol I took my first ever pistol wild boar last evening. He weighted 175lbs dressed at the meat processor not a gaint but a good average mature boar around these parts. I was out filling feeders on my hunting lease when I saw him chaseing a sow around a thicket. I stalked up within 35 yards after about 30 minutes and dropped him with one shot from a 10mm contender using 200grXTP at 1200fps. He ran only 10yards after the shot bullet passed through both sides lung shot. I will scan and post a pic when I get my film back from Walmart.T hanks for all the help people gave on my post over the last few weeks its nice to get some real world info from other handgun users when you are just starting out with a pistol. My wife is happy with 20 years of archery,black power,rifle hunting she said all I needed was another pistol hunting hobby.
