got a new gun

I was at the market and saw this airgun for 25$. the guy said it can kill roundents and it has a 400fps.  Can it do it? its a air pistol. 8)

ONLY 400 fps.?  Sorry, but I wouldn't use it for anything but targets.  For pest control nothing under 600 fps. in a .177 caliber.  Lawdog

although not for long range I woulod not outright dismiss .177 guns in the 400 fps range as some do... I have experience and successfull experience with 400 fps airpistols and vermin. Years of experience and success actually. Some here are predjudiced against the .177 to begin with it seems. I would not shoot anywhere near long range but it will work if you are accurate andpracticed. To be less than accurate would not be fair to the game though.
