High Velocity .22lr and the 7000

Should I stick to the low to medium velocity ammo for my new Marlin 7000? I was shooting CCI Mini Mags out of it today with no problems.
Go out and get yourself a Concealed Weapons License. I did. :gun4:

Mini mags are high velocity, their fine.I would steer clear of the hyper velocity stuff.CCI velocitors seem to be in no mans land some where in the middle.Hey how did it shoot and what scope you put on it.Did you like it.

Turns out I didn't bring enough ammo. I took it hiking in the mountains this morning. I was with another guy and his wife. We shot 200 hundred rounds thru it, not a single jam or malfunction of any type. All ammo was CCI Mini Mag. I sighted it in at 30 yards, I will perfect that later. It has a cheap simmons 3-9X on it now, I am saving up for a better scope. It is a bunch of fun to shoot, you can really keep it on target between shots. I paid $149 for the gun, it's new, but it had a scratch on the barrel from being displayed. They took off $25. I don't care if it has a scratch.
