Without knowing everything about your stand, it's tuff to say if there's anything you're doing wrong. Personally, I've let the JS 612 e-caller run for 30 minutes straight and called them in. I'd concentrate more on getting to your stand as quietly as possible and into the wind. It's amazing how many guys let their truck doors slam shut before they walk 3 minutes and start calling. Anything that doesn't sound natural will be picked out and scrutinized immediately, and that could blow everything else that you may be doing RIGHT. If you're with someone, avoid talking on your way out.. We actually use hand signals to communicate only if needed. Yote Killer had a couple good points about pressure and camo. Keep reading in this forum and you'll learn a ton (not that you don't know a ton already).
