Hunters Pistol rules?
« on: October 03, 2005, 11:36:07 AM »
In NRA Hunters Pistol is there a part of the arm that can, or can not touch the body?
If your right handed can your right arm (or elbow) come down and rest against your side?
Can your support arm or elbow touch your side?
Can your forearm touch your body?

Thanks
Bill

It's been a while since I read the rule book but I believe all your questions can be answered No!. No part of either arm from the wrist back can touch any part of your body. I doubt that this particular rule has been changed but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Steelbanger is right.  No support is allowed.  If it even looks like you may be touching, you can be called on it.

You can only hit the target if the barrel is pointed in the right direction when the bullet leaves the barrel.
