On a similar topic, will recoil pads made for an Encore fit a G2 Contender Buttstock?

The angle of the draw bolt is different among those guns, so if you try to re-drill the bolt hole you will cross through the original, and odds are you'll just end up with a big hole.  Or, if you are handy with wood, just look  at the stocks sold by www.gunstocksinc.com.

I liked the size of the Encore stock better than the pre G2 Contender stocks.  I bought 2 from gunstocksinc that were Encore size and shape but were inletted for a Contender.  Standard grade semi-finished walnut stock was only $45.

I guess the best thing would be to trade this sey for a contender set. It is like new except for 1 1" scratch in butstock. Let me know if anyone is interested.

thanks
