I have an older Taurus .38 revolver in the shop that has a broken transfer bar. It has the mill marks in the cylinder flutes like some of the early ones has 610 B stamped inside the yoke. I'm having a time finding one. Taurus said they couldn't help me , and the usual sources like Numrich and Jack First don't have it. If anyone has the part for sale or knows of a source I would be greatful. This seems to be a weak point as I've replaced this part on newer Taurus revolvers.  Thanks alot. greer

I'd get a piece of 4140 steel flat stock and a good file and make one from the broken one.

I'd have to charge more in labor than 3 of the guns are worth :-)     greer

Thanks for the reply, but Numrich says they are sold out. I most always check with them first.

Did Taurus say why they couldn't help you? My only guess is that the gun is such an early model that they don't have the parts anymore?
