Monday Question of the Week

Okay time to brush a little dust  and cobwebs off the brain cells.  Which preditor trapper  used a cows rib bone  as a regular part of his canine setting tools? This man  worked for the U.S.F.& W for over 40 years.

Yep Ace the trapper was located and lived in California.  Two of  R.G.K. mentors were Floyd L McTimmonds and Frank Barmettlor both master trappers of canines and of other preditory animals plagueing the cattle and sheep ranchers.
The cattle rib bone was used  in adjusting things at set and  giving final touches.
Also R.. kept yotes as pets to watch them and study them.  But as they got older  he gave them away to zoos or wildlife displays.
