Ruger 77 questions
« on: October 09, 2005, 11:38:53 AM »
Somebody pointed me to this forum as the place to go to get answers to the following question.  What is the proper way for putting a wooden stock on a Ruger 77 as far as which screw to tighten first and how much each screw should be tightened?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
If I can make it go bang it can't be that hard to do.

Go to Ruger's site and select "Safety". You can download the owner's manual or just view it. It has the directions you're looking for. I will add the center screw doesn't need tightend as much as the front and rear ones but must be snug enough to hold the front of the trigger guard in place.
