What part is politically correct?

Hmm...

What if you had 'accidentally' spilled a few ounces down that barrel?

Then lit a match for better light...

Yeah, that sounds like a plausible excuse.

Probably wouldn't get your butts out of trouble, but it sounds good anyway. :-D

I think it is a Du Pont style black powder can (as opposed to the current GOEX style with the shield on the front.)  It is really not political correctness that is being demonstrated (which is what confused me.)  It's more like bulletin board correctness.

The blurred text reads:
BLACK
RIFLE
POWDER

DANGER
EXPLOSIVES

NONYA.

Board Politics....As the regulars here know, our Blaster Bob requires the display of a powder can to show scale in pictures posted on the board. In fact recently Blaster took your moderators to task for posting a picture in the FT.Shenandoah thread without the can.

To correct the error, when we went to Ft. Shenandoah we took a powder can.  In the interest of safety an empty can was used.  I emptied a can with the least powder to get an empty.  The can is an old Moosic PA GOEX can for FFFFg.

Wow, makes old Blaster sound like a chap compared to a bulldog with a rag that just can't let it alone. Nice to see someone thought of the can and an effort made to show scale on this picture.  Since the can was made empty, I'm starting to wonder if it may then have been filled with a liquid of some type that could be passed around to the NON-shooters.  Perhaps something that had been fermented just a wee bit.

Not in this case.  MY homebrew is always bottled under the label of "Chateau Barracks".

OK CW, perhaps your label was on the back side of the can since Graybeard wouldn't want you to advertise on this site, not that you'd do that. :)

I've never worried too much about what's on the backside of my can since there are always enough other people in my life that do that!
