My area of NY just went rifle this year, but the large parcel of land I have a permit to hunt will not allow them, along with numerous landowners. It will take a while for people to get used to rifles here. In-lines have also been "questioned" on this land. So I traded two Mod 94's in for a Encore w/20 ga. rifled slug barrel that I will scope. A friend has one and said it's a tack driving deer killer. So I will have the basis for a rifle later on. I hope this isn't as addicting as fly-fishing. (Or should I say my wife hopes it isn't!!!!!   )
