Been Goosed Lately?

:D   Any one of these nice honkers I know I could have shot with my xbow. Twenty yards easy. ( at one time not when the pic was taken)  Problem is it is in a metro area and these geese were about 100 yards from where the bow hunting area is. Too bad so I shot them with my digital camera instead. Yea I could have shot one but I do not want the hassle in case some cop took exception of me being that far away from the hunting zone just is not worth it. I kinda know how a hunting dog feels now looking at a flock of birds and no one is shooting.

Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

I hear ya there. There have been times were I have had to vere into another lane IN THE CITY to avoid hitting Canadiens. I have also thought the best way to hunt them is with a 12 gauge from a golf cart [grin]

Turkeys are another bird that likes the pavement. Just today I had to slow down for some turkeys that were crossing the road just down from my driveway. Happens all the time.

Eyesore,

I've met a few Candiens and well they seemed nice enough sort of folks, not really the type that I would try and run over or even wave a scattergun at

The boy and I are off to the marsh this week and next and will see if the Candiens (geese) decide to co-operate. May not be the greatest time to be after them since the temps are warm and clear sunny skies are forecasted but will be nice to be outdoors in any event.
