I have been resizing some 308 brass to 7m08. I see that the oal of the resized brass is about 2.15 compared to 2.25 for new 7m08 brass. I would think that this would not be a problem and would be solved by the fire forming. Any problems with my thinking?

No problem. I would trim all my brass to a uniform length even if its a little short of the book minimum.

No problem!!! Trim like beeman suggested. I have resized several hundred mil surp 308 to 243 with the same result. Supprisingly I found the resized brass produced slightly more accurate ammo than factory brass.

This may create a neck thickness issue. You may end up turning the necks down a bit. You can make a chamber cast or measure a spent factory case. I think a chamber cast may be more accurate. Many think this to be tedious and not worth the effort but, the results can be gratifying as dakotashooter2 indicated.
