Gas check ?
« on: September 23, 2005, 09:04:58 AM »
Anyone ever use gas check style bullets without the gas check for fire form loads? Looking for a cheap out forming 7x30 brass.

Thanks, Tad :D

Why use bullets at all? I normally use bullseye powder, cream 'o' wheat (uncooked) and a little toilet paper on top to hold it together. Just up the load until you get good looking cases. In my 7mm-08 I just did 200 using 9.0gr. BE and the cereal. I was blowing out .243 cases, and they came out perfect.
