 What caliber rifle was used to take the 864 pound Black Bear in PA, in 2003?

Not sure about the bear from '03. If your interested I have a story w/ pics of a 13 yr. old hunter who took the largest bear (statewide) during the '02 season. Bear's estimated live weight, by PGC personel at the check station, was 761 lbs. Bear was taken on opening day in Luzerne Co.

Not sure about that one but there was an 800 Lb'er taken just a few years back with a 30-30.
