I bought my 41 mag. 15 yrs ago. Its a Ruger Redhawk w/ 7 1/2 bbl. I have only shot one big game animal with it..It was a 6x6 bull elk. I shot it at 45 yds broadside with a 255 LBT and 20.0 of H110. The bull traveled 160 yds and piled up. bullet stopped in the off shoulder and I still have the bullet. If I had to do it all over again, I would have shot 280gr LBT"s. I have always had a soft place in my heart for the 41's.
