I got my first buck with a muzzleloader yesterday. Got him with a CVA firebolt ,45 caliber, using a hornady 180 grain xtp sabot at 128 yards

btw( he is a 3-point, spike on one side and a fork on other. Has anybody ever seen this?)

Yep, saw it just last night in fact.  I was sitting in a cut bean field looking for a dumb ground hog that won't go to sleep for the winter, and saw about 10 different deer.  Alot of young of the year, a couple older does, and of course, the buck.  He had antlers like you described...a curving spike on one side, and a fork on the other.  From what I've seen, it usually is a 1 1/2 year old.  If I understand what you're talking about(almost full sized antlers).   By the way, congrats on the buck!!!

Congrats Robin Hood!  That's a helluva bp shot.  It's like a whole different experience with a charcoal burner.  Keep on makin' smoke!
