First post here. I just bought a Contender frame and am just getting started with this affliction. So heres a little something for you.

For all you guys who reload and want to save some money. I found a program that might be of some use. I'm not a reloader yet, but I thought this was pretty cool.

Let me know what you think.

I didn't want to reply until I had a chance to play with it.  Well... I played with it last night.  I like it. :D   I have an old DOS ballistics program called Qball (quick ballistics) that I was using but it doesn't keep track of reloading data like this one.  I'll probably keep both.  Now I need a chrono, dang it!  See what you did? :)

I hope it works for you. I'm thinking of getting into reloading and this looks like it would work well for a beginner. I really like the batabase part of this program. I especially like the import/export part. Everyone could share their load info. The evaluation screen is the best part, I think. Imagine the database we could build if everyone started useing it!!

Oh well, I hope everyone finds this useful.  :D

I have been using point blank for some time and it is the best shareware I have found , one problem I have found is it wont accept projectiles over 900 grains ,Not that I shoot any that heavy but there are guns that do.
One intersting use of it to caculate velocity of a given load , if you know 2 points of impact and then use veiw data. I have used 50 and 100 yards and then ran it though a crono and it was darn close.
