what is the best way to trap bobcats in footholds? and are #2 bridgers big enough?

Dirt hole sets and post sets when there is no snow and post sets and cubby sets in deep snow conditions. See my answer to buckskin a few threads down on bobcat sets. Yes, #2 Bridgers are adequate for bobcat. Ace

I like Bridger #2 4 coiled off set traps for cats. In fact that is as fancy as I go. A little adjusting and speed dip and they are redy to go. I double stake them when I can hide them well, If not I drag them. Arround here the animal usually gets the drag hung up while hiding themselves. But, traps on drags are easy to steal. Theives arround here are too lazy, wasted on meth,or drunk to up root or cut a double staked trap. Good luck.
