I am considering building a 6mm-223 upper for my AR-15 and have 1000's of 223 brass to play with. I have found all of the components to build this cal upper for my AR's but have never had any experience with the 6mm-223.
Is there any noticable gain with this cal over the standard 223. Currently I use 55 to 70gr loads for target and varmints in the 223. I am looking for this as just a little bit better coyote getter with a 55 to 70gr V-Max load. If my research is correct I should gain a bit of velocity with the 6mm loading.
and besides I don't have one and I have perfected the loads for my current rifles so I need a new one to work with.
