Converting a T/C Encore rifle to a pistol?

Can anyone tell me if you can convert a T/C Encore rifle to a pistol by changing the barrel and furniture?

The parts fit.  Do a search on this topic here and in the TC rifles forum and make your own mind up as to the legality.  It has been beat to death here.
