WTK: Loudest available blanks
« on: October 23, 2005, 03:58:38 AM »
Hi,

Please excuse me if this is slightly off topic. I am the ower of a US 1941 M3 Antitank gun in 37mm (registered).  The Army had shells modified to shoot 10 guages blanks for training. I want to make up a few of these for my gun, as a easy way to shoot blanks at reenactments and such. My questions is who makes the loudest/ best blanks and what caliber should I use? 10 guage? I would prefer non corrosive but the boom and smoke is more important.

Thanks!

Robert

This is the wrong forum for your gun.  Check our sticky Cannon and cannon shooting supplies at the top of this forum for an out fit called Cannon-mania.  They supply blanks.

Agree, it's off topic, although it sounds like fun.
