« on: October 24, 2005, 06:35:48 PM »
i own a tc encore and about to purchase a 7-08 barrel.  what i am looking for is a hunting rifle, relatively light, thatll drive tacks.  i wont be shooting anymore than 300yrds.  i would like a 26 heavy barrel but cant seem to find one.  what i need is advice and any tricks of the trade on making the encore accurate yet practical.  thanks for any input that yall have.

All my Encore barrels I have are accurate right out of the box. I just had to fine tune my hand loads to make tack drivers out of them.

Some barrels shoot some are dogs, if you buy the factory ones. Float the front handguard on a couple of washers.
