prototypes were made and advertising began showing a .17M2 model similar to the MKIII Hunter model but functioning isues arose when the production ammo differed slightly than the previously provided trail ammo. It had a slightly different pressure curve I'm told. this I guess also kept the .17M2 Buckmarks from hitting production as well. I'm guessing it'll only be a matter of time.
