After deciding to get a .45-70, do you think I could find one? NO! Tried 3 different shops, and they all checked with their distributers. NADA!  :(  Called NEF, said production run would be starting in the near future. Asked about sending in for a .45-70 barrel for my present handi. Replyed "No in stock at this time". I've called 9 dealers on their dealers list and nobody has one. I guess I'll have to wait. Found a .45-70 barrel on eBay going for $138 w/$8 s&h.    It still has 2 days to go. Really don't want to pay that much, but who knows.
Using government to make us all feel great is getting rather expensive don't you think?

Just wait awhile for a new one , it will be well worth it .  :D
