After deciding to get a .45-70, do you think I could find one? NO! Tried 3 different shops, and they all checked with their distributers. NADA!
Called NEF, said production run would be starting in the near future. Asked about sending in for a .45-70 barrel for my present handi. Replyed "No in stock at this time". I've called 9 dealers on their dealers list and nobody has one. I guess I'll have to wait. Found a .45-70 barrel on eBay going for $138 w/$8 s&h. :shock: It still has 2 days to go. Really don't want to pay that much, but who knows.
