Here's a picture of a seven point buck I took during Maryland's earlier muzzleloader season with my Huntsman. After missing a nicer buck out of the same stand on the same day a year before at almost the same time. I have been kicking myself for a year for rushing the shot and not finally getting the wall hanger I have been after.

I first saw him about 8:00am in the morning, slowly making his way down the same trail I had walked in on earlier that morning. He was taking his time, which give me time to calm down and this time make my shot count. After several minutes he came into range, about thirty yards from my stand. He was directly facing me now with his head down. I slowly took aim and fired, hitting him at the base of the neck. He dropped in his tracks. I was using two fifty grain Prodex pellets over a 240 grain Hornady bullet. I was able to recover the bullet. It was almost twice its original diameter with the core being separated from its jacket. I can see why he never even moved.
