I have used a Harris bipod with a clamp-on barrel mount. I agree with most folks...if using the pistol with the bipod all of the time, then go with it. If you do decide to take off the clamp and bipod, be sure to sight in again. I also have installed a swivel stud, and can now attach and detach the bipod on my forearm, which is just as nice. I also have a pair of shootin sticks from Stoney Point, and use only them at the present time. Much less hassle, and can be adjusted easily in height. THe choice is yours...I have had success with all of the above listed bipods.
