williams peep sight for marlins
« on: October 26, 2005, 12:02:44 PM »
just wondering if anyone out there has tried a williams WGRS-54 receiver sight on any of their marlin rimfires.  more specifically a model 981T. i believe  they're made to attach to the grooves in a grooved receiver.  probably have to replace front sight as well with a higher one. thanks for any input.....tg

They do clamp on to the dovetail machined in the top of the receiver.  Williams suggests a .343 high front sight for the model 881.  I have one in the box which I bought years ago but haven't had a rifle to use it on.  I may put it on the boy's Marlin and surprise him...
