Refurbishing a scope

I've got an old redfield 6x that I like a lot. Unfortunately the lenses are dirty on the inside. Is there someplace i can send it to have it opened up cleaned and purged?

(918) 445-2286 .... Send the scope + $59.00 and when repaired will be returned via UPS .... This is year old info, so better call to check first.

An alternative would be ABO...but they're real slooooow!

jerkface11:  I believe that Simmons Optics will also repair your Redfield, as they are owned by Meade Instruments who now owns the rights to the Redfied scopes.  You can mail your scope to them along with $10 and they will inspect it and get back to you with a repair estimate - if you don't like the estimate, they will simply ship the scope back to you:

I have an older Redfield 4X with a similar problem that I am thinking about sending to them.

Thanks guys seems no one makes a scope like i want for less than $400. I'll give that guy in tulsa a call.

Parsons scope service

I had Parsons scope service do an old Weaver for  me as well as replace the post and crosshair with a cross hair.  He did a fine job at a reasonable price and decent turn around.  He advertises in Rifle Magazine.

The did one Beeman scope for me and I have another currently there.  It takes a while and I think you have to send $38 up front but they do a good job.

I see that ABO is no longer the Redfield service center but they will still repair Redfields.  

So you have several options.  Good luck.  Kinda nice to keep an old scope working.

Well i called redfield and they told me to call mike sexton since my scope was made before 1999. When i get hold of him i'll post again.
