happy with sidekick

Thanks for advice on sidekick vs cva wolf. I purchased a stainless side kick, I sighted it in this weekend only took about 5 shots, very accurate. Now I would like some advice on how to take care of the barrel, is bore butter a good choice. Any advise would be appreciated. Also I used 100 grains loose triple 7 with a 245 gr. power belt to sight it in.

sbaker62, I have found a product by Rusty Duck called Black Off. You can find it in Walmart and T/C has a product by the name of Bore 13 it is a good product for cleaning your blackpowder guns. After a good cleaning I use bore butter by T/C. I have found it has helped protect my Huntsman and it is easy to apply. When you clean your breach plug use a quality lube and finger tighten the breach plug. Make sure after every third shot loosen the breach plug and you shouldn't have any problems. Good luck, the Huntsman and Sidekicks are one of the most accurate guns on the market.
