Accurate Data Powder 79
« on: October 28, 2005, 03:37:41 PM »
Just picked up 8lbs of the stuff for $69 pus shuipping etc.  They include that it was made for a large OEM manufacture and include some loading data for 30-06, 223 WSSM and 22-250.  Looking at my Lyman loading data as well as other sites for the last few hours, it looks like it measures and burns almost exactly the same as Winchester 760.  Can't wait to work up some loads.  Has anyone developed loading data for this powder?

Since no one has replied to your post, Azshooter, I thought I would at least encourage you to post your results with the Accurate Data 79 powder.  What calibers are you planning to try it in?  I considered ordering some to try, but since I only load for .270WSM and 6.5x55 it didn't appear to be an optimal powder for my uses.  Sounds like it is more of a medium to medium fast powder and while my 6.5x55 might be able to effectively use it, I am pretty pessimistic that it would have any application in the short mag.  :(
