Lock Smith or Spare Parts
« on: November 16, 2005, 06:39:33 AM »
I found a .32 Cherokee yesterday and it shoots great, my problem is that some previous owner has messed with the lock to the point that it has a 1# or less trigger and the screws inside the lock plate are all buggered up to the point that an attempt to repair will require replacement of the screws.  The question being, are there replacement parts available or are there any (competent) Lock Smiths that do work on Thompson Centers?  Is there anyone who makes replacement locks for the little TCs?  This would be a great starter gun for my grandkids, and the initial investment on the gun is little enough that spending a little to get it right is justifiable.

Get it done right.  Send it to T/C and hope that they are in a good mood.  It helps to brag them up a little.

Myself, I would call T/C and see if they can get you a new lock for her or if they can fix it of you send it back. Jack.
