Thanks slayer. I did get lucky and nailed a real nice 8 point at 7:30 this morning. He walked up to some deer lure. Broad side shot at maybe 50 yrds not any more than that . One 295 gr hollow point on top of two 50 gr triple 7. He ran almost toward me witch was up hill when he was at my left he gave it up and laid down. Wished he had made it on up the hill. My buddy and I had to drag him the reest of the way. estimated filed dress weight was 175lb seemed like 10 times that. If it don't rain me out I am going to try again tomorrow sure would like a young one for freezer meat. If the pitchers turn out I will post them.
