I had posted some time back about the having to send a .414 SuperMag Super 16 barrel back to T/C for second trip. Got a phone message today and called them back. My barrel was a special TCA run barrel and the gentleman said they had probably made less than 100 of that configuration..16 1/4" tapered barrel in .414. They wouldn't be able to repair, but would be glad to replace, but, since the .414 is not a production chambering and the 16 1/4" barrel is not available as production any more, I would have to chose from what is available from production..any barrel! Since I had bought this barrel with the thought of my son using it on whitetails, I decided to go with less of a thumper and chose the 6.8 SPC in 23" length. Anyone have experience with his round..so far I can't seem to find brass and dies at the same place! Looking forward to working something some new..
