Remington 710

This weekend I shot a remington 710 that a friend owns. I shot it several times and each time it vibrated after the shot. Is this normal? this had the composite stock, was light and i liked the feel. . it was like a standing shock wave in the stock. it made the gun feel toyish if you know what i mean. It sure was accurate though.

Vibrated after the shot? How long after? Just from my own brain it almost like the stock retained the shock waves from the shot then released them as an after-shock. Weird. Never heard of that before. I've never heard a good thing about the 710. If it was saftey, or the fact it was built and performed so cheaply, I really can't give an honest opinion on it. But if it shot good and you'd want to get one, I'm certainly not gonna stop you. Obviously it sells somehow.  :D

My cousin got one from Walmart, and being that I grew up around Remingtons, Id say dont let the cheap price or cheap looks fool you. its not bad at all.

he got the .270 and after 200 rounds fired, Id say Id recommend this rifle to anyone that wants a very affordable way to get into shooting or hunting.

if cost isnt an issue, I wouldnt recommend it though. but for the price, and seeing as the scope comes mounted, its easy to see why they sell.
