I think its a blue gosling myself.  Right up there with scent blocking clothes and 50+ different kinds of cammy.
If you're gonna buy into that stuff, why not just chew a stick of spearmint gum?  Maybe they'll come out with some doe-in-heat gum.  Now wouldn't that be a winner.

Naw! Just look for a smokin' fresh scrape, and tuck a pinch of moist soil between your cheek and gum.

I actually,have nothing USEFUL to add.Sorry,Dave

I am of the opinion that the smell of your breath no matter how foul is not a concern to deer. Now they might smell it but if they do they are sure to have smelled your body odor long before. It is the human body odor not the smell of breath or even urine or excrement that I think is what they fear.

I have no experience with the gum.  The suppository, however, gets two thumbs up! :) I'm not going to tell you up what!  The gum seems like a fair idea, although I usuall just brush my teeth with baking soda.
This that I do, I do by my own free will.

I just don't know. When it comes to younger deer you can get away with alot.
Adult whitetails are another story.  I didn't see any mature bucks this year and I will never know if any busted me, or how, if they did.
If the trend continues this fall i will have to take a hard look at the possibilities.

I'm just a newbie, but it's my opinion that the older, wiser bucks are probably leery of any smell they can't readily identify.
