What's your most accurate load?

I've got a .50 cal 21" carbine, and I can't seem to find a consistent bullet/charge combination.  Maybe it's just me, but my .35 Marlin shoots right where I point it!

100 grains loose triple 7 with the XTP sabots (think they are some odd weight like 348 grains).

295 PowerBelts did not work well in my Optima but T/C black sabots with Hornady 45 cal 300gr XTP put 5 shots into 3" at 100yds.  I will keep trying different loads over time.  I'm just want to get under 2" groups.
I aim to please - but often miss.

I tried the TC "break-o-way" sabots when I first got the gun about 10 years ago and had a helluva time getting them down the barrel.  I think I was messing up the heads of the bullets, in the process, and losing accuracy.  I've since heard & read that sabots are generally hard to load.

Do you all ever have that problem?  Are some better than others, in that respect?

Sabots are hard to stuff down the barrel for sure.  I thought about it a bit and the 230gr XTP 45 cal bullets for the ACP are .001" smaller and a bit shorter than the 250gr XTP and a lot shorter than the 300gr XTP that I use.  Could make a difference.   I pushed one out that I dry-balled and the nose looked fine.  Stuffed it down again and it shot into the group (not a flyer).
