Wow the guy  told me it was in great condition and he didn't lie.Looks brand new,came with the rings,so i put my little 2x7 compact leupold on it and dammmmm it shure looks pretty.My 13 yearold daughter says that its hers ha ha because i sold her model 7 after deer season was over.I think i'm in love again......even asked the wife if she wanted to stroke the pretty stock.
Women just dont understand a man and his rifle.
Come on spring,just dieing to shoot.

congrats.. I've had a 30/06 RSI for about 5 years now. Couldn't be happier. I've had two different scopes on to date, first being a Burris 4X20mm which look proper on it without the objective bell. This latest edition was a Nikon 2-7X32 whick is by far a better scope, it just doesn't look at good as one without that objective bell.

I'm use to the bite of the /06 out of that short barrel, but it sure gives me a great deal of joy watching buddies shoot it "once" and hand it back. Makes me laugh...

Not taking anything away from the Leupold 2x7, but if you ever get the opportunity to put a 1.5-5x Vari-X III Leupold on it, it really turns it into a supermodel.
