I need to check the load data for a new 6mm/30-30 AI contender barrel.
Need loads for 75 Hp bullet with IMR-4895 powder. My source P. O. Ackley looks too Hot for me. Thank you for this information. Twyman

I'd start with Fred's data on the Bullberry site, for the 6mm Bullberry, and go from there. www.bullberry.com

Also take a look at the SSK data for the 6MM JDJ. The .225 Win. case is a wee bit smaller than the case you're asking about. So data for the 6 JDJ should likely be very close to what the data is for the 6/30-30 AI. I'd not use it as load data but would serve as a check on older data.

Yep Ackleys data is based on using full length 30-30 brass....where the typical 6mm 30-30 Imp. nowadays is shorter and holds less powder. I have a few really good loads for different weight bullet for your 6mm 30-30.....excellent 58 gr. V max load and a small deer/coyote type hunting load using heavier bullets. I can Pm..............

Freds data on the 6mm BullberryImp is a great place to start......my 6mm 30-30 is very similar in dimension as the overall length is the same. The case body on my imp. is longer but the neck is shorter.....gives me a little more room for powder and little more velocity.
