Yup I noticed it a little while ago when I logged on for the day. Doesn't seem to be a real problem at this time. It appears that the change from link to the GBO Home Page to another page is all that was done this time.

Sure makes us realize the vulnerability of this freeware we use tho. They are supposed to be coming out with a paid version of it soon that will fix the security weaknesses of the free version. If we change to any other software than phpbb tho we lose all the posts we now have and we're approaching 1/2 million of them and we'd also lose all registrations and everyone would have to register again. Not something we want to go thru.

Nope, not the way we operate. I'm not at all sure how in the world the last one did it but as far as we can tell the only thing done was the link to our GBO Home Page on the Forums Index was changed to that other page and the text also changed. Was a simple two minute fix. But how these folks are gaining admin access is the concern and we honestly dunno.
