The passing of a good friend to silhouette shooters
« on: November 14, 2005, 12:46:09 PM »
Don't want to junp the gun or step on any toes, but received notice today from Glenda Williams at Tulsa Red Castle of the passing of Ralph Hill, the older silhouette shooter that called the Red Castle matches.  I didn't know Ralph for but a couple of years, and always enjoyed his presence at the Red Castle matches.   Ralph had been a shooter for many years and I, for one will miss him when I to to Tulsa to shoot.  Again, I don't want to step on the toes of Ed or Mark or the other Red Castle shooters, but I know that you will join me in mourning the passing of on of our own.

Services for Ralph were well attended by his friends from the shooting community. Ralph was 84. Until very recently he was an active participant in several disciplines, most notably SBR silhouette, where he was the perennial range master at the RCGC matches. He was an avid BR50 shooter as well as airgunner. He will be missed.
