can you see the hits in your scope?
« on: November 11, 2005, 12:34:40 PM »
i sure can but here's the shocker i'm shooting a 30-06!!!!!!

i got out today for the first time with my 30-06 ultra comp i was shooting federal fusion ammo (150 grains) and with my scope on 6 power i could see every hit in the scope (milk jugs at 300 where a lot of fun and i was only aiming like maybe 5 inches high) i only shot one group though at 50 yards but it put them all in the same whole (out side to out side maybe .5 or so ) . my friend shot his chrony about a week ago so i don't know how fast it was going but judging by the drop i'll bet 2900 or a little faster.

i'm fighting a bad cold right now so i wasn't shooting up to par but when i'm feeling better i'll have to shoot it again and see how i do. i'm betting an other group like mac's .

BTW i want to thank mac for everything he's done for me and this barrel . YOU DA MAN MAC!!!!

I can't wait to let my -06 Comp stretch it's legs. I want to back it up to 500 and try it out.
And yeah...gives a good headache won't it?   :x
