I neck-size only after I fire the case the first time. Removing the barrel and checking to see if the case is flush with the back of the barrel is only partially correct. If there is space between the back of the barrel and the breech face, you have excess headspace. You must measure that gap and allow the case to stick out of the back of the barrel that distance. Thus, if you fireform the case first and then just neck-size, you help compensate for that extra distance. My Waters barrel is absolutely an M.O.A. or LESS shooter out to 200 yards using the Hornady 120 grain Single Shot Pistol Bullet or the Lyman 287346 (135 grains) cast bullet. H-335 or WC-844 are the powders of choice. Good-luck
