209X45 and 209X50 FOREARM ???
« on: November 12, 2005, 06:55:56 AM »
Hey guys
Can the forearm for the ENCORE 209X50 ML be used on the ENCORE 209X45 ML? Just currious! Im thinking about buying a ENCORE 209X45 ML and was wondering if the forearm was interchangeable?
Thanks. :D

I have a .50, and I don't think I have ever seen a difference in the catalogs, I will give it a look and see what I can find.  If I had to guess, I would say that they use the same blanks and just change the bore diameter.  I'm sure one of the fine folks here could say for sure off the top of their heads.

Either one will fit the M/L forearm.  :D

I guess I can always get the black synthetic forearm and do a cheap spray cammo job to sorta match the cammo on my butstock. Why doesn't TC offer a cammo forend for the 209X45????????
Thanks :?

Not sure about the TC product numbers, and I have the black synthetic forend. This forend fits both the .45 and .50 barrels.

Check your PM. I have a .45 SS Encore barrel for sale if you are interested.

I put that in the private message but here goes.  It is the 1:20 twist I believe. I got the gun in 2002.  It has the fiber opitc sights and scope mount attached. The bore is perfect, looks new, and there are the usual rub marks from the frame, but otherwise excellent condition. It will put 225 powerbelts at 25 yds. into one big hole with two pyrodex pellets.  Reason I am selling is to buy another .45 inline rifle.  I am asking $195 + shipping (they run $280 new)

The TC lifetime warranty also applies.

Sorry, I didn't get back sooner as I was butchering a 8 point that I killed yesterday morning. :-) (He was killed with the .50 barrel.)
