After many years of looking for a model 70 in 225 I found one with a varmint weight barrel.
The rifle has an aftermarket stock that does not lend itself to field shooting.
I purchased a Winchester SA Varmint stock but it does not fit. Would the 225 be chambered in a long action or did I buy a stock for the WSSM's?
My action screws are spaced at about 7 1/2 inches
