does anyone know of a gunsmith(s) that does trigger jobs on the rossi singleshots?

No, I traded of my 17 HMR because of the very hard trigger pull, I'm lucky  my bull barrel 223 has a very good trigger.

I have yet to hear about anyone doing one on a Rossi, but I am sure your local Smith would be able to do it.
 Seen and done one on my NEF, but am not totally sure about the guts of the Rossi action, as I haven't taken one apart yet.

rossis can't be yanked aprat as the H&R's can, so i'm still guessing.

Actually, I did the H&R trigger job on my Rossi .243. Parts and methods were identical. It is available in the H&R section, or here: http://www.perkloafm.com/

well, that's interesting, I'll have to try that. Now I wish I hadn't sol my stainless .44 mag, it was lazer accurate but had a horribly stiff trigger.
