What bullets for Handi 22 Hornet?

Which bullet dia. gives better all a round performance in the Hornet? Is it the .223 or .224 size.
I just ordered my very last Handi, every caliber niche is filled. No more, that's it ,period.

my old hornet liked the hornady 35 grain V-max the best

and it is .224

Mine shoots the .224" 35gr Vmax moa or less. :wink:

I can get sub MOA with mine using the 40 gr Vmax which is also .224

How well do the .22 Hornet Handi-barrels "modify" to .22 K-Hornet?

I want to shoot a Hornet type cartridge, but with a sharply defined shoulder in a chamber that slows case stretching and head-spaces off the shoulder.

Interesting that the 35 grain Hornady V-Max has turned in excellent performance.  

What about heavier bullet weights?

And what velocity were any getting with the 35 grain V-Max?  

On what length of barrel?
