I was reading the "Handi vs. Encore" post in the Single-shot forum and someone stated that NEF was bringing back the .35 Whelen for '06...is this true?!!! :shock: Anything else coming out for '06?

Yep it's true. But it will more than likely be brought back in a 22in. barrel.

That's the rumor floating around...supposed to be in a 22" barrel configeration...

:-D Thanks guys! That is such GREAT news! I had given up on finding a reasonably priced one on the used market and almost broke down and bought a 7600 instead.
A 22" barrel?? That seems kinda' short for a Whelen, isn't it? Thought they'd be closer to 26" to get more speed out of it. But hey, I am not complaining! :-)
