Chris,The Trapper and Predator Caller Magazine,is the best all around magazine for trappers.Now I may be a bit prejudiced,as I write a few articles for this magazine each year.
 They do have a web site ,if you are interested.

Welcome aboard Chris.  Tom and Asa gave you some good advice.  Start out slow , pick out  water or land critters and  learn the proper ways... Also joining your state trappers association can be a big help as they have rondezvous with supplies and demos on setting for various critters.... meanwhile we  will try and answer your questions, no question is stupid, we all started at the bottom at one time.... good to see you here....
