and I'm not a bit ashamed,lol.....shot a TINY doe...but she'll taste good and she wasn't ever gonna grow a big rack  :-D    and my cousins husband shot a tiny doe,too and gave it to me....I just finished skinning and quartering them     :grin:

I heard him shoot and called him on the cell phone and he wanted me to come help him track his...so on the way to walking to him a little doe walked out on the firebreak and just stood there.....so i shot her....hit her a little low and to the rear..but it was freehand at about 70 yards so not a bad shot.....she only ran about 30 yards  ....FIRST ONE FOR THE 270 ULTRA COMP    :D  :grin: ...first one for my handi,period    :grin:

Congrats on getting a deer...:toast:

Nothing wrong with having a fine young tasty doe to put in the freezer..and on the grill  :agree:...just wait till those back straps get done....yummmmmm!!! You'll be glad you didn't pass on her...Now that the Handi jynx is broken..got get her Daddy  :)

Good shooting when you got does running all over their is nothing wrong with some good freezer meat. Heck you can't eat the horns anyway. Around my neck of the woods we can take three does a day now that tells you something. Go do it agin. 8)

Myarmor,I'm not sayin it was loud,but i thought i'd been struck by lightning  :-D  :-D  :-D ....seriously though,it's pretty darn loud,but i shot a muzzle braked 300 win mag one time that made the 270 sound like a 22.....22 SHORT    :shock:
Hellacatcher,we can shoot 8 does here(i think) so i'm still lookin for em   :D
